Iran’s Supreme Leader Triumphantly Proclaims: “We Defeated the United States”

In an unprecedented public taunt, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared this weekend that “the Iranian nation defeated the U.S.,” openly humiliating President Trump and proclaiming America’s Middle East influence in tatters.

Khamenei took to state media and social platforms, directly accusing President Trump of orchestrating unrest inside Iran. He blamed the U.S. for “casualties, damage, and slander” and labeled the protests a U.S.-engineered “sedition” destined to fail.

He asserted that since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, “the U.S. has lost its dominance over Iran,” vowing that Tehran delivered a “major blow” to American ambitions. No foreign leader has ever so bluntly proclaimed victory over the United States.

A senior regime ideologue, Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi, ratcheted up the vitriol days earlier. On state television he branded the U.S. President an “impure, savage yellow dog” who “must pay the price”—even urging supporters to capture and punish him like a criminal.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s Parliamentary Speaker, piled on the aggression. He threatened President Trump with an unforgettable “lesson” in Iranian firepower, promising U.S. forces would be “burned by the fire of Iran’s defenders.”

All this came as Iran faces three weeks of nationwide protests. Citizens are rising against economic collapse and deadly government crackdowns. Officials have severed internet access, arrested thousands, and deployed security forces with live ammunition.

President Trump responded with unambiguous resolve. He publicly affirmed U.S. support for brave Iranian protesters and warned Tehran that “we’re looking at some very strong options.” He pledged: “If they do that, we will hit them at levels they’ve never been hit before.”

On the economic front, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent unleashed sweeping sanctions on senior Iranian officials and regime-linked networks. He accused Tehran’s ruling elite of behaving “like rats fleeing a sinking ship” as they scramble to wire millions abroad.

The Pentagon simultaneously redeployed the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to the Middle East. This decisive move reinforces America’s forward presence and underscores the administration’s readiness to protect U.S. interests.

Despite Iran’s bluster, its regime stands internationally isolated. Its economy teeters on collapse, its people risk their lives for freedom, and its leaders are exposed as violent oppressors rather than champions of Islam.

The message from Washington is clear: Iran’s threats will not deter American resolve. The United States will continue to back the Iranian people, enforce tough sanctions, maintain its military posture, and hold Tehran accountable for any aggression.

Iran’s self-proclaimed victory is a sham. The real power lies with a U.S. President who acts, not one who tweets empty boasts from a basement. America’s dominance endures—unyielding, unshakable, and prepared to defend liberty at every turn.
