In a seismic move that rocked Washington, FBI Director Kash Patel has purged a faction of agents who turned America’s premier law-enforcement agency into a political hit squad. Top operatives tied to the Biden Justice Department’s crusade against President Trump have been shown the door—no excuses, no hesitations, no mercy.
Patel summarily removed the Special Agent in Charge in Atlanta, the acting Assistant Director in Charge of New York, and the former SAC in New Orleans. In Miami, as many as six agents were bounced for their roles in the infamous Mar-a-Lago raid, an over-the-top operation captured live by CNN cameras.
That August 2022 swoop on the president’s private residence was unprecedented. More than 30 agents stormed Mar-a-Lago, rifled through Melania Trump’s personal wardrobe and even her lingerie drawers. It wasn’t law enforcement—it was a political spectacle designed to intimidate and inflame.
Internal emails declassified late last year confirm what common sense demanded: there was no probable cause for that raid. Justice Department lawyers, egged on by Biden loyalists, green-lit a fishing expedition that violated every principle of due process. Patel tore out the rot at its roots.
Worse still, the same clique of agents celebrated their misconduct with a gaudy trophy emblazoned “Operation Arctic Frost.” It was a self-congratulatory award for targeting Republicans, conservative nonprofits, and Trump himself. Patel posted photos of the brass bauble on X, declaring, “This is what corruption looks like when it thinks no one is watching.”
“Corrupt actors commissioned a trophy for lawfare,” Patel wrote. “I disbanded CR-15 and removed everyone involved. When legacy media cries foul, remember this: we did the right thing—and we did it decisively.”
President Trump applauded the purge, calling the ousted agents “total scum” no better than the rioters in Portland and Minneapolis. He has repeatedly demanded a complete cleanup of the FBI’s politicized ranks. Patel’s actions mark the first real step toward that goal.
This purge sends a crystal-clear message: America’s law enforcement belongs to the people, not to partisan operatives. Patel has restored integrity to an agency that had drifted into lawfare and vendetta.
