In a prime-time “60 Minutes” sit-down, President Trump delivered a blistering verdict: Zohran Mamdani is a radical communist unfit to govern New York City.

Trump wasted no words. He quipped he’s “much better looking” than the 34-year-old front-runner—and far more competent.

He tore into Mamdani as a “communist, not merely a socialist,” warning that under Mamdani’s leadership, the Big Apple would collapse financially.

“Bill de Blasio looked like a statesman next to this guy,” the president declared. “Mamdani would make de Blasio look like one of our greatest mayors.”

Trump pointed to his own record of reviving urban economies, boosting business and restoring law and order.

By contrast, Mamdani’s far-left agenda—open borders, unchecked spending, radical rent controls—would drive New York deeper into crisis.

“Why should we send federal dollars to a city run by a communist? That’s throwing money into the garbage,” Trump insisted.

He reminded viewers that under his administration, federal investments yielded record-breaking job growth and historic wage increases.

This candid exchange lays bare a stark choice for New York voters: proven leadership that delivers results, or untested ideology that threatens to destroy America’s greatest city.
