Carnage at Seattle Food Festival: Three Dead After Gunmen Open Fire on Families

Three innocent people are dead and four others wounded—including a two-year-old boy—after multiple gunmen turned Seattle’s beloved Bite of Seattle food festival into a war zone Sunday evening.

The bloodshed erupted around 6 p.m. as families gathered for what should have been a peaceful community celebration of food and culture.

Two victims died at the scene. A third succumbed to their injuries after desperate attempts to save their life at a local hospital.

Another Preventable Tragedy in a Democrat-Run City

This is what happens when soft-on-crime policies meet reality. Seattle—a city that spent years coddling criminals and defunding police—has once again become a killing field.

Seattle Police Department assistant chief Tyrone Davis confirmed that one suspect is in custody, describing the perpetrator as a “young person.” Translation: another juvenile criminal the system likely failed to hold accountable before this massacre.

Authorities are actively searching for at least one additional shooter. SPD deputy chief Andre Sayles indicated there may have been even more than two gunmen involved in the exchange of fire.

Crossfire Claims Innocent Victims

Police believe the suspects were shooting at each other—using innocent festival-goers as human shields in their personal dispute. Among the wounded is a two-year-old boy, currently in stable condition, whose childhood will forever be marked by this senseless violence.

The Bite of Seattle has been a Pacific Northwest institution since 1982, drawing 350,000 attendees over three days of food, drink, and what its website optimistically calls “community celebration.”

The Real Crisis Nobody Wants to Address
