A federal magistrate in Minnesota just handed a victory to Don Lemon—refusing to even sign a criminal complaint over last weekend’s church intrusion.
Lemon, the former CNN anchor turned far-left agitator, led a mob of anti-ICE militants into a worship service in St. Paul. They disrupted prayers, harassed congregants, and brazenly flaunted the rule of law.
Three organizers—Nekima Levy Armstrong, Chauntyll Louisa Allen, and William Kelly—are already in federal custody. Each faces conspiracy charges and violations of the FACE Act for depriving worshippers of their civil rights.
Yet when prosecutors presented their evidence against Lemon, the magistrate balked. The judge claimed the paperwork was “insufficient,” effectively giving Lemon a legal pass.
Make no mistake: this isn’t harmless “journalism.” Lemon admitted he knew exactly what would happen. He wasn’t there to report; he was there to provoke. His foreknowledge and active participation place him squarely in the camp of the rioters.
Minnesota’s own justice system has abandoned its duty. Local authorities refuse to enforce even basic trespassing laws on leftist radicals. That vacuum forced the Department of Justice to step in—and now even it is hesitating on Lemon.
This case exposes a deeper rot. Radical organizations are emboldened by judges and prosecutors who view lawbreakers as social justice warriors, not criminals. That mindset must be stamped out.
Every American has a right to worship without fear of intimidation. Every churchgoer deserves protection under law, not empty promises from a hand-wringing judiciary.
If Don Lemon broke the law, he should be indicted immediately. No more stalling. No more political games. The rule of law must apply equally to elites and activists alike.
Republicans in Congress and state capitals must demand oversight. We need hearings, subpoenas, and public accountability for the career prosecutors and magistrates who shield these anarchists.
Let this be a warning: America will not tolerate double standards. We will hold every radical, every enabler, and every complicit judge to account—no exceptions.
