Biological Male Dominates Girls’ Track Meet, Beating Female Competitors by Nearly a Foot

A biological male swept three girls’ track and field events at a major California high school competition this weekend, claiming first place in the high jump by clearing nearly a foot higher than the second-place female competitor—a stark illustration of the unfair physical advantages that are destroying women’s sports across America.

AB Hernandez, a senior at Jurupa Valley High School who identifies as female, dominated the Roosevelt Invitational, securing gold medals in the girls’ high jump, long jump, and triple jump. The performance wasn’t close.

In the high jump, Hernandez cleared 5 feet 8 inches—a commanding 10-inch advantage over the biological female who finished second at just 4 feet 10 inches. This isn’t competition. It’s a farce.

Three Golds, Zero Fairness

The biological male athlete also claimed easy victories in the long jump with a distance of 17 feet 3¼ inches and the triple jump at 38 feet 4 inches. Female competitors weren’t even in the same ballpark.

This weekend’s performance follows Hernandez’s record-breaking triple jump of 39 feet 10 inches at the VS California Winter Championships in February. The athlete currently holds the US No. 1 ranking in girls’ triple jump for the 2026 outdoor season with a personal best of 40 feet 7.5 inches.

Those aren’t girls’ records. They’re records set by someone with male physiology competing against females.

Trump Administration Takes Action

President Donald Trump hasn’t minced words about California’s continued violation of women’s rights in athletics. In May 2025, he threatened to withhold federal funding from the state over its radical gender ideology policies.

“California, under the leadership of Radical Left Democrat Gavin Newscum, continues to ILLEGALLY allow ‘MEN TO PLAY IN WOMEN’S SPORTS,'” Trump declared on Truth Social, cutting through the politically correct nonsense to state the obvious truth.

The Trump administration recently expanded a federal investigation into California’s transgender sports policies. The US Department of Education has added the California Community College Athletic Association to a probe that already includes the Jurupa Unified School District.

Title IX Under Fire

The investigation centers on a critical question: Does allowing biological males to compete in female categories violate Title IX protections designed to ensure fair competition for women and girls?

The answer is unequivocal. Title IX was enacted specifically to create equal opportunities for female athletes. Allowing males to dominate women’s sports obliterates those protections and makes a mockery of five decades of progress in women’s athletics.

California’s Radical Stance

Despite mounting federal pressure and overwhelming public opposition, California state law continues to prioritize gender ideology over biological reality and fairness for female athletes.

The state’s extreme policies mandate that biological males who identify as female must be allowed to compete in girls’ sports, use girls’ locker rooms, and claim opportunities that rightfully belong to female athletes.

“I’m just a normal kid going to school, playing sports,” Hernandez told reporters earlier this season. “They don’t take the time to get to know me… it’s just a little frustrating.”

What’s actually frustrating—and fundamentally unjust—is watching biological females lose medals, scholarships, and opportunities to male athletes with inherent physiological advantages in strength, speed, and explosive power.

The Science Democrats Ignore

The biological differences between males and females aren’t subtle. Males have greater bone density, larger hearts and lungs, higher hemoglobin levels, and significantly more muscle mass. Puberty amplifies these advantages dramatically.

No amount of hormone therapy erases the permanent athletic advantages conferred by male puberty. This isn’t bigotry. It’s biology.

Female athletes who have trained for years deserve to compete on a level playing field. They deserve to have their achievements measured against other females, not against biological males with insurmountable physical advantages.

A National Reckoning

The controversy surrounding Hernandez represents a much larger battle over common sense, fairness, and the future of women’s sports in America.

Across the country, female athletes are being robbed of victories, records, and opportunities by policies that prioritize progressive ideology over basic fairness. Parents are watching their daughters lose to biological males and being told they’re bigots for objecting.

This madness must stop.

Women fought for decades to secure their place in athletics. They deserve better than watching those hard-won gains evaporate in service of radical gender ideology that denies biological reality.

The Path Forward

The Trump administration’s investigation represents a crucial step toward restoring sanity and fairness to women’s sports. California’s defiance of common sense and federal law cannot continue unchecked.

States that refuse to protect female athletes from unfair competition should face real consequences, including the loss of federal funding. Taxpayers shouldn’t subsidize discrimination against women and girls.

As the outdoor season progresses toward the State Championships, Hernandez remains the athlete to beat in the jumping events—not because of exceptional talent among females, but because of the immutable advantages of male biology.

Every medal claimed by a biological male in women’s competition is a medal stolen from a female athlete. Every record set is a mockery of fair play. And every state that enables this injustice betrays the fundamental principles of Title IX and women’s rights.

The solution is simple: Protect women’s sports by preserving female-only competition categories. Biology matters. Fairness matters. And America’s daughters deserve better than this progressive charade that sacrifices their opportunities on the altar of gender ideology.
