Nationwide protests are set to erupt this Saturday, targeting President Donald Trump and Elon Musk with a powerful message: keep your hands off our vital services.

This isn’t just a protest; it’s a statement of resolve. The “Hands Off” actions are rallying cries from Americans fed up with out-of-touch elites threatening the foundations of our society—our healthcare, Social Security, civil rights, and education.

According to the organizers, this “national day of action” aims to unite lawmakers, community leaders, and average citizens. They stand together to demand that Trump and Musk refrain from meddling with essential programs that hardworking families count on.

The rhetoric is fierce: “Trump and Musk believe they own this country. They’re stripping away resources and daring anyone to stop them. On April 5th, we take to the streets to declare: Hands off!”

With Trump’s administration and congressional Republicans launching relentless attacks on basic services, it’s clear—Americans are done being silent. Together, we demand they back off from our healthcare, our Social Security, our rights, and our freedoms.

One focal point of these protests will be in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Boston protest kicks off with a march to City Hall Plaza, hosting a rally featuring Senator Ed Markey and other prominent speakers. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. and concludes around 2 p.m., including a special musical performance by the Dropkick Murphys.

Protests are scheduled in all 50 states, with participation from groups like the American Civil Liberties Union, League of Women Voters, and Planned Parenthood Action Fund, as well as advocates for climate justice and voting rights.

“This is the moment where we say NO,” asserts the protest’s messaging. “No more looting, no more theft, no more billionaires exploiting government resources while everyday people battle to get by.”

The American people are rising up. It’s time to fight for what belongs to us.
