Zohran Mamdani’s victory in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary isn’t just a surprising political outcome; it represents a chilling shift in our electorate’s mindset. The youthful charisma and relatable campaign rhetoric are merely the surface. The grim truth is rooted in one stark reality: indoctrinated youth.

The alarming numbers don’t lie. Among New York City’s 5.1 million registered voters, approximately 2.5 million — nearly half — fall within the 18 to 49 age bracket, a demographic I define as the “indoctrinated kids.” This is a generation molded not by the principles of American democracy but by Marxist ideologies fostered within our nation’s colleges and universities.

A decade ago, I regularly highlighted the struggles of conservative students facing discrimination on college campuses through a series called “Campus Madness.” We shined a light on the difficulties encountered by these students — grades penalized for political beliefs, free speech stifled, and humiliation from leftist professors. Yet, in our efforts to spotlight conservative challenges, we overlooked the broader, much grimmer truth: the true peril comes from students who entered college with open minds and exited fervently radicalized.

These individuals, once apolitical or mildly liberal, have undergone a complete transformation. Instead of awakening to a balanced worldview, they’ve been immersed in an anti-American, anti-white, anti-God, and ultimately anti-human agenda perpetuated by their educators. The “woke” culture we observe today is a direct consequence of this systematic indoctrination.

Now, back to Mamdani’s win. The breakdown of voter demographics makes it crystal clear. A staggering 20% of the city’s voting population is comprised of college graduates shaped by these indoctrination facilities. And with only 11% of registered voters statewide being Republicans, it’s evident that the left’s radicalism has taken hold.

Make no mistake: Mamdani’s success is not a misunderstanding of his Marxist inclinations by the electorate. His election is a testament to the allure of Marxism among a generation steeped in radical ideology. The long game played by leftist infiltrators of academia has reaped a dangerous harvest — a generation of voters irrevocably shaped by years of ideological manipulation.

And let’s be clear: this is not a localized issue confined to New York City. This blueprint for indoctrination is spreading like a contagion to every corner of America. It must be confronted. We must demand that President Trump take decisive action to cut federal funding to any institution that embraces and promotes anti-American ideology, including private schools benefiting from taxpayer dollars. Without the federal government’s financial support, these indoctrination centers will crumble.

The urgency of the moment cannot be overstated. If we fail to leverage our power now, we risk losing the very essence of what America stands for. The clock is ticking. Listen to Mamdani for just a moment and realize the stakes at hand — the future of our nation hangs in the balance.
