Congressman’s Attorney Admits Catastrophic Error: Toddler’s Photo Included in Public Evidence Dump

An attorney for embattled Rep. Max Miller made a shocking admission Tuesday that will intensify calls for the Ohio Republican’s resignation: he “inadvertently” included a shirtless photograph of the congressman’s two-year-old daughter in a massive public file release designed to defend Miller against domestic abuse allegations.

The revelation represents a stunning failure of judgment that compounds an already explosive scandal threatening to end Miller’s political career before voters head to the polls this fall.

Attorney Aaron Minc took full responsibility for the catastrophic error, stating he was “the only person responsible for assembling, creating, reviewing, adding, deleting, redacting, or making any changes to the information and files” released during Miller’s Sunday livestream defense on X.

But taking responsibility doesn’t undo the damage. The files were accessed more than 204,000 times before concerns were raised—meaning the congressman’s own legal team essentially distributed sensitive images of his child to hundreds of thousands of strangers online.

Miller’s Sunday livestream was supposed to be his definitive pushback against abuse allegations from his ex-wife, Emily Moreno. Instead, it has become exhibit A in why politicians should never conduct their own public relations crisis management.

The congressman posted a second link to the files after the first mysteriously went offline. That second link remained active as of Tuesday afternoon—a decision that raises serious questions about judgment and priorities.

This isn’t just political malpractice. This is a father whose legal team failed to protect his own daughter while trying to protect his reputation.
