A radical prosecutor in Philadelphia publicly declared open war on America’s immigration agents—labeling federal officers “wannabe Nazis” and vowing to hunt them down “the way they hunted down Nazis for decades.” This is not hyperbole. It is a direct challenge to the rule of law.

At a Tuesday rally, District Attorney Larry Krasner pledged to assemble a coalition of like-minded prosecutors to identify ICE agents, strip them of constitutional protections and bring them to state court for “justice.” He insisted that no federal badge grants immunity from homicide or civil rights charges.

This explicit threat against U.S. law enforcement crosses every red line. Krasner’s promise to pursue ICE under state law—even after any administration change—undermines federal authority and jeopardizes the safety of officers carrying out Congress-mandated duties.

Krasner’s record exposes his contempt for public safety. Since taking office in 2018, he purged dozens of experienced prosecutors, replacing them with novices committed to his “progressive” agenda. The result: Philadelphia’s homicide rate surged to a staggering 562 deaths in 2021—the highest on record.

Businesses fled in droves. Wawa and Starbucks outlets shuttered, citing rampant retail theft and a climate of fear. Neighborhoods that once thrived are now battlegrounds for lawlessness and despair.

Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives saw the danger and, in November 2022, voted 107–85 to impeach Krasner for “purposeful ineffectiveness” and gross mismanagement. Republican lawmakers warned his policies would drive crime, cripple the justice system and harm vulnerable communities.

Yet Krasner remains a darling of the national “populist” prosecutor movement, bankrolled by billionaire George Soros. He brands impeachment as an “authoritarian” attack on “Black, brown and broke” voters—precisely the kind of divisive rhetoric that fuels unrest and street violence.

America cannot tolerate a lawless prosecutor who weaponizes accusations against the very officers sworn to defend our borders and communities. Krasner’s threats are more than rhetoric—they are a declaration of war on the Constitution. It’s time for decisive action to restore order, uphold federal supremacy and protect every American.
