Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is taking a bold stand against the insidious practice of weather manipulation. She is introducing a bill aimed at banning any attempts to engineer our weather systems—something that should alarm every American.
Greene has tirelessly advocated for the protection of our natural environment. Through her research and collaboration with legislative counsel, she formulated a straightforward and powerful plan to ensure that no individual, corporation, or government entity can tamper with our weather.
“I am introducing a bill that prohibits the injection, release, or dispersion of chemicals or substances into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity,” Greene revealed. “It will be a felony offense.” This is a decisive move to safeguard our skies and climate from reckless manipulation.
Greene’s initiative reflects a growing concern about geoengineering—an alarming practice that involves large-scale interventions in the Earth’s natural systems under the guise of combating climate change. This approach ranges from reflecting sunlight to drastic carbon removal, and it poses serious risks to our environment and public health.
“This is not normal,” Greene emphasized. “I want clean air, clean skies, clean rainwater, clean groundwater, and sunshine just like God created it! No person, company, entity, or government should ever be allowed to modify our weather by any means!” Her message resounds with clarity: we must preserve the purity of our natural world.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis previously recognized the dangers of geoengineering, signing Florida’s Senate Bill 56, which explicitly protects residents from such practices. Greene’s bill aligns with these protective measures, aiming to eliminate weather modification activities altogether.
Historically, the National Weather Modification Policy Act of 1976 mandated that the Secretary of Commerce investigate the state of scientific knowledge on weather modification. Unfortunately, the urgency of this issue has been overlooked for far too long.
A recent survey by Rasmussen Reports underscored public skepticism about government transparency, revealing that 44% of likely voters believe agencies may have secretly released chemicals into the atmosphere. This growing concern makes Greene’s bill all the more urgent; the American public deserves accountability and transparency concerning weather manipulation efforts.
