A trained mixed martial arts fighter delivered swift justice to an intruder who brazenly invaded his sister’s Florida home. This is no mere story of a break-in; it’s a testament to the unwavering spirit of self-defense and family protection.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Henny Rojas was jolted awake by his terrified teenage nephew, informing him that a stranger was lurking in the living room of their Wilton Manors home. Rojas leapt into action without hesitation. “I’m prepared. It’s not my first time; I don’t feel pain. Nothing,” he declared. Armed only with his training and determination, he faced the threat head-on.
The martial arts warrior swiftly engaged the intruder, identified as Austin Carasani. Utilizing his expertise, Rojas subdued Carasani until law enforcement arrived to take over the situation. Rojas wasn’t looking for weapons; his skill and resolve were his greatest tools.
Meanwhile, Rojas’ sister Patrizia was in Miami when she received the harrowing call from her son. Panic filled their conversation as he screamed for help, declaring that someone had broken into their home. This isn’t just a dispute about property; it’s about the unyielding right to protect one’s family.
Austin Carasani, 31, staggered into court just hours after his confrontation with Rojas, sporting visible bruises and welts from his beating. He claimed to have wandered in after a night of drinking at a local club, insisting he was trying to reach a friend’s home. Yet, Rojas and his family had never met Carasani before, making his assertions ring hollow.
Charged with home invasion, Carasani remains behind bars at the Broward County Jail, with a hefty bond of $20,000. Rojas, on the other hand, stands proud, satisfied that he could defend his loved ones.
“Protect your family,” Rojas emphasized. “There are a lot of crazy people out there who don’t believe in God and are only looking to cause damage.” This incident is a clear reminder that vigilance, preparedness, and an unwavering commitment to family safety are paramount. When it comes to defending what is rightfully ours, there is no room for compromise.
