Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America and Women Speak Out PAC are launching a no-holds-barred, $4.5 million campaign aimed squarely at defeating Democrat Roy Cooper’s opportunistic candidacy for North Carolina’s open U.S. Senate seat. This is not just another election; it’s an imperative battle for the soul of our nation.

The campaign is laser-focused on reaching one million voters by Election Day 2026. This multifaceted effort will deploy targeted digital advertising, extensive voter contact mail, and a vigorous early voting initiative. Key urban centers like Charlotte, Raleigh, Fayetteville, and the Triad will be the battlegrounds for mobilizing persuadable and pro-life voters who often sit on the sidelines during midterm elections.

Our determination to fight for the sanctity of life has never been stronger. In the wake of the unconscionable assassination of pro-life advocate Charlie Kirk, we are even more resolute in our mission. This aggression against our values only amplifies our urgency to reach voters and influence the electoral outcome to protect unborn lives.

Cooper, the former governor of North Carolina, is poised to seize a U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican Sen. Thom Tillis, who wisely chose not to seek a third term after contentious clashes with Trump. Instead, Cooper faces off against the formidable Michael Whatley, former Republican National Committee Chairman and a crucial ally backed wholeheartedly by President Donald Trump.

Roy Cooper’s record speaks volumes about his extreme pro-abortion stances. He has shamefully vetoed critical legislation that would provide life-saving care for babies born alive following attempted abortions, showcasing his loyalty to the abortion industry over the welfare of vulnerable infants. His staunch allegiance to radical abortion policies makes him unfit to represent North Carolina in the U.S. Senate.

As Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America, candidly stated: “Roy Cooper’s record is clear: he is a pro-abortion radical and must be defeated.” Our campaign is ready—well-organized and energized—to expose Cooper’s radical record to the voters in our state.

With a track record of reaching over 31 million voters in battleground states since 2014, we know how to win. In 2024 alone, we effectively connected with more than 575,000 voters in North Carolina. We refuse to let Cooper’s extreme views go unchallenged.

The battle against Cooper is just one part of a larger strategy. We’ve committed another $4.5 million to vital Senate races in Michigan and Georgia to further our pro-life cause. Our movement is gaining momentum, and we will not rest until we secure victories that reflect our unwavering commitment to life. The time for action is now.
