Tlaib’s KKK Chants Expose the Radical Left’s True Colors During State of the Union

A sitting member of Congress repeatedly chanted “KKK” while her Republican colleagues celebrated America with patriotic “USA” cheers during President Trump’s State of the Union address—and the mainstream media is barely covering it.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the Michigan Democrat and “Squad” member, was caught on video mockingly shouting the name of America’s most notorious hate group to fellow radical Rep. Ilhan Omar as Republicans thunderously applauded the President inside the House chamber Tuesday night.

This is the modern Democratic Party in one shocking moment.

The Mask Has Completely Slipped

The National Republican Congressional Committee didn’t mince words, declaring on X: “Everything you need to know about today’s Democrats. They cannot stand this country, they cannot stand its comeback, & they cannot hide their contempt anymore.”

They’re absolutely right. For years, conservatives have warned that the radical progressive wing has hijacked the Democratic Party. Now we have undeniable proof playing out on the House floor during one of our nation’s most solemn constitutional ceremonies.

This wasn’t Tlaib’s only disgraceful display during the evening. The Michigan congresswoman also wore a vulgar “F–k ICE” pin on her lapel and repeatedly heckled the President throughout his nearly two-hour primetime address to the nation.

Americans Demand Accountability

The backlash has been swift and justifiable. Furious citizens across the country are calling for Tlaib and Omar to face serious consequences—including expulsion from Congress—for conduct that can only be described as treasonous.

“As a Black American, watching Tlaib, a non-Black person chant ‘KKK’ is beyond offensive,” one outraged American wrote on social media. “That word carries generations of terror and pain; it’s not a prop for political theater. This is conduct unbecoming of a Member of Congress. Censure her.”

Another citizen cut straight to the heart of the matter: “Tlaib and Omar need to be removed from Congress. It’s unbelievable the hatred they have for the USA. Why is this being allowed without consequences?”

These are legitimate questions that demand answers. When did it become acceptable for elected representatives to mock their colleagues as racists during a State of the Union address? When did open contempt for America become a badge of honor in the Democratic Party?

President Trump Calls It Like He Sees It

President Trump didn’t hold back in his assessment of the radical duo’s behavior, posting on Truth Social Wednesday that the “mentally deranged” progressives should “be institutionalized” for their outrageous antics.

“When you watch Low IQ Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, as they screamed uncontrollably last night at the very elegant State of the Union, such an important and beautiful event,” Trump wrote. “They had the bulging, bloodshot eyes of crazy people, LUNATICS, mentally deranged and sick who, frankly, look like they should be institutionalized.”

The President continued with characteristic bluntness: “When people can behave like that, and knowing that they are Crooked and Corrupt Politicians, so bad for our Country, we should send them back from where they came — as fast as possible.”

Strong words? Absolutely. But Trump is saying what millions of Americans are thinking as they watch these radical lawmakers treat our nation’s highest constitutional traditions with utter disdain.

A Pattern of Anti-American Extremism

This latest incident isn’t an isolated outburst—it’s part of an established pattern. Tlaib and Omar, the first female Muslim lawmakers elected to Congress, spent most of Trump’s speech glued to their cellphones, periodically erupting to attack him before storming out early like petulant children.

These are the same representatives who refused to join the dozens of their Democratic colleagues who at least had the decency to boycott the speech altogether rather than turn it into a circus.

The American people deserve better. They deserve representatives who, even when they disagree with the President’s policies, can show basic respect for the office and the constitutional processes that make our republic function.

The Democrats’ Extremism Problem

Make no mistake: Tlaib and Omar aren’t fringe figures in today’s Democratic Party. They’re celebrated icons of the progressive movement, given prime committee assignments and leadership positions despite their radical views and repeated controversies.

The Democratic establishment’s refusal to meaningfully condemn this behavior speaks volumes. Their silence is consent. Their inaction is endorsement.

When Republicans chant “USA” at a State of the Union address, they’re celebrating the greatest nation in human history. When radical Democrats respond by chanting “KKK,” they’re revealing their fundamental contempt for America and everything it represents.

This isn’t about policy differences anymore. This is about whether we’re going to tolerate lawmakers who actively despise the country they swore an oath to serve.

Time for Consequences

The House Republican leadership needs to move beyond strongly-worded statements and take concrete action. Censure should be the absolute minimum response to this outrageous conduct.

Tlaib’s office predictably had no comment when asked about the incident—because what possible explanation could justify this behavior? There isn’t one.

Americans are watching. They’re seeing which party loves this country and which party can barely conceal its contempt. They’re seeing which party celebrates our achievements and which party mocks patriotism as racism.

The 2026 midterm elections will be a referendum on these two visions of America. One vision sees a nation worth celebrating and defending. The other sees only oppression and injustice requiring radical transformation.

Rashida Tlaib just showed the country exactly which vision the Democratic Party has embraced. Republicans should make sure voters never forget it.
