America Just Conquered Canada Where It Matters Most — And That’s Only The Beginning
The United States men’s hockey team just demolished our northern neighbors in overtime to capture Olympic gold, marking the first time since the Miracle on Ice that we’ve beaten a communist-aligned adversary on the world’s biggest stage. And if you’re a red-blooded American, you spent every second of that game on the edge of your seat, watching greatness unfold.
Our goalie stood between the pipes with an American flag and a largemouth bass emblazoned on his mask, turning away over 40 shots in a performance that will be remembered for generations. That’s the kind of unapologetic patriotism that makes America exceptional.
Meanwhile, Jack Hughes took a high stick to the face, lost a tooth, kept playing, scored the game-winning goal in overtime, and then delivered a post-game interview so patriotic that NBC briefly scrubbed it from social media. The network couldn’t handle that level of raw American pride.
This is what separates us from them. Americans watched that game because we’re genuinely proud of our country. We wanted to win because wearing the stars and stripes means something.
Canadians, by contrast, have been systematically taught to hate their own nation. Justin Trudeau explicitly declared Canada a “post-national state” — essentially announcing that Canada isn’t actually a country at all, just a landmass occupied by people who share nothing in common. So Canadians don’t root for Canada. They root against America.
And hockey represents their last shred of dignity. Canada’s economy is in complete freefall. Their athletes were literally caught cheating at curling — yes, curling. Hockey is essentially the only sport Canadians play with any seriousness. When they lose to a country where hockey ranks somewhere between lacrosse and competitive eating in terms of national interest, they have to confront an uncomfortable question: What exactly are we good at, besides burning churches and operating government-sanctioned death panels?
Americans don’t wrestle with existential crises because our country is exceptional in every measurable way. We routinely dominate other nations in sports they invented and obsess over, while we barely pay attention. Canadians live and breathe hockey. We think about it once every four years, and we still beat them when it counts.
For maximum psychological impact, we should assemble an American cricket team and win whatever championship they have in that sport. Picture thousands of Americans tailgating outside the stadium, drinking beer, grilling burgers, and being as obnoxiously American as possible about a sport none of us understand or care about. That’s the kind of dominant energy this country should project.
This victory comes at a particularly opportune moment. I’ve received considerable backlash from leftists — especially Canadian leftists — for suggesting last week that the United States would be morally justified in liberating Canada from its tyrannical regime. At minimum, we’d have stronger moral justification for intervention in Canada than virtually anywhere else on earth, including Iran. Now that we’ve conquered them on the ice, it’s time to make the comprehensive case for why regime change in Ottawa would serve justice, security, and human rights.
I’m not definitively advocating for invasion. But I am arguing that a compelling moral, strategic, and geopolitical case exists for such action.
Before addressing the substance, let’s dismiss the reflexive objections. Saying “it’ll never happen” or “that’s crazy” doesn’t constitute an argument. These are predictions about likelihood, not assessments of justification. And after watching the United States eliminate the Maduro regime in Venezuela, these predictions look increasingly foolish.
The parallels between Venezuela and Canada are striking and numerous. Like Venezuela, Canada is a resource-rich nation that has catastrophically mismanaged its natural wealth. Like Venezuela, Canada systematically suppresses free speech and crushes dissidents who challenge government orthodoxy. Like Venezuela, Canada has signaled allegiance to China, creating a direct security threat in our hemisphere. Like Venezuela, Canada maintains virtually no functional military.
We could execute the same operation we just completed in Caracas. Activate our capabilities, remove the illegitimate government, install leaders who actually respect human rights and freedom, and complete the entire operation in a single night with zero casualties. Many Canadians — particularly in Alberta — would welcome American forces as liberators. We’d simply replace the tyrants in Ottawa, just as we replaced Maduro. The left-wing Canadians wouldn’t mount any resistance; their government already confiscated their firearms.
We executed this exact operation mere weeks ago. The precedent has been established. A similar operation targeting Ottawa is justified for identical reasons — and more.
The Squandering of God-Given Resources
Canada possesses nearly unparalleled access to some of earth’s most valuable natural resources, and the current regime is criminally squandering them while millions suffer. Under the Don-Roe doctrine our president has clearly articulated, this represents a major injustice demanding correction.
Canada holds approximately $800,000 in natural resource wealth per capita — more than six times the per-capita resource wealth of the United States. Given their small population, every single Canadian should enjoy prosperity. Every citizen should have immediate access to quality healthcare, affordable housing, and stable income. On a per-person basis, the average Canadian should be wealthier than the average American.
Instead, Canada has systematically destroyed this potential wealth through ideological sabotage. They’ve enacted environmental regulations that make new pipelines, dams, and mining operations nearly impossible to construct. Before any project proceeds, the regime mandates “gender equity reviews,” emissions compliance, punitive taxation, and consultations with “indigenous elders.” Canadians appear committed to economic suicide for purely ideological reasons.
Many Canadians remain oblivious to their government-engineered poverty. That’s why mass hysteria erupted when the Globe and Mail published analysis revealing just how impoverished Canada has become. The headline read: “Out of nowhere, Canada became poorer than Alabama. How is that possible?”
This headline perfectly encapsulates Canadian delusion on multiple levels. First, this didn’t happen “out of nowhere.” For ten consecutive years, Canada’s GDP per capita has declined while America’s has surged. Americans benefit from a stronger economy generating more jobs and higher wages. Our economy began its surge when President Trump, in his first term, slashed the corporate tax rate.
Canada’s economy collapsed the moment liberals seized power, raised taxes, increased regulations, and began flooding the country with third-world immigrants, predominantly from South Asia. This decline has been gradual and entirely predictable.
The foreign-born population percentage in Canada has exploded over recent decades, accelerating dramatically in the past ten years. Nothing about Canada’s economic catastrophe should surprise anyone paying attention.
The headline also reveals Canadian ignorance about Alabama specifically. They envision Alabama through a South Park caricature lens, imagining some backwater hellscape. In reality, Alabama serves as a major hub for aerospace, biotech, defense, and automotive manufacturing. Canadian politicians repeatedly reference Alabama as if discussing a failed state, displaying complete ignorance about American geography and economics.
To their credit, Globe and Mail journalists actually visited the Deep South. Here’s their bewildered report:
“For an ego check, The Globe and Mail travelled to the Deep South to understand how this happened. Immediately, it was obvious Alabama is misunderstood. In Huntsville, there are as many Subaru Outbacks as there are pickup trucks. Its economy is booming. The state’s unemployment rate is now just 2.7 per cent, versus 6.5 per cent in Canada. In 2024, Alabama made nearly as many vehicles as Ontario. The U.S. simply pays more for many senior white-collar jobs, and top personal tax rates in Alabama can be around 40 per cent. Today, they’re 53.5 per cent in Ontario.”
Canadian journalists were genuinely shocked to find Subaru Outbacks in Alabama. They expected exclusively pickup trucks, wife beaters, and scattered whiskey bottles. Instead they discovered nearly universal employment, affordable real estate, high salaries, and functional healthcare without year-long wait times for MRIs.
People in Alabama hold real jobs — manufacturing, engineering, aerospace. They’re not overwhelmingly employed by government or government-funded nonprofits, which describes the majority of Canadian employment.
Alabama also guarantees something Canada has completely abandoned: freedom of speech.
The Systematic Destruction of Human Rights
This brings us to the second compelling justification for deposing Canada’s regime — they’re committing flagrant human rights violations on our doorstep. Canada has devolved to the point where citizens face million-dollar fines for stating biological facts.
This case deserves detailed examination because it exemplifies the totalitarian nature of the Canadian regime. A British Columbia tribunal just ordered former school trustee Barry Neufeld to pay $750,000 for “violating the Human Rights Code by publishing hate speech and discriminatory content against 2SLGBTQ+ people.”
Neufeld’s alleged violations included Facebook posts, a public speech, an email, school board comments, and media interviews. The tribunal determined six of his statements were “likely to expose trans, gay and lesbian people to hatred or contempt.”
The $750,000 will compensate teachers’ association members who identify as LGBTQ for supposed “injury to their dignity, feelings and self-respect.”
Read that again. In Canada, if you hurt the “feelings” of a “2SLGBTQ” person, the government will financially destroy you. That’s now codified law. And no mainstream Canadian politician has expressed outrage. There’s been no mass protest against this decision.
Even before examining the content of these supposedly “offending posts,” this decision — properly understood not as an isolated incident but as symptomatic of comprehensive communist tyranny — provides standalone justification for regime change in Canada. Freedom of speech represents the single most essential right in Western civilization. That’s precisely why our Founders enshrined it in the First Amendment. Regardless of how offensive speech may be, regardless of whose feelings get hurt, that’s irrelevant. Once freedom of speech dies, you’re living under tyrannical dictatorship.
This is worse than North Korea in meaningful ways. At least North Korea isn’t positioned sixty miles from our border.
Perhaps this man made genuine threats or voiced truly dangerous statements? Let’s examine the tribunal’s actual decision.
On October 23, 2017, Neufeld posted a public Facebook statement describing teaching about sexual orientation and gender identity as a “weapon of propaganda” promoting the “absurd theory” that “gender is not biologically determined, but a social construct.” He stated that “allowing” children to “change gender” constitutes child abuse. Neufeld concluded by saying he wished he lived in a country like Russia or Paraguay, “which recently had the guts to stand up to these radical cultural nihilists.”
In another post, he called transgenderism “a way of coping and surviving horrendous physical and sexual abuse as children,” noting that the most “at-risk children” are “disturbed and mentally ill children — especially autistic, obsessive/compulsive, sexual abuse survivors and post-traumatic stress syndrome kids.”
Every single statement in these posts is demonstrably, scientifically true. The censors know they cannot win legitimate debate. They understand their ideology crumbles under scrutiny. So instead of permitting discussion, they’re enforcing compliance through state violence.
The tribunal’s decision contains the most Orwellian passage ever published in a legal ruling:
“Transpeople are, by definition, people ‘whose gender identity does not align with the sex assigned to them at birth.’ If a person elects not to ‘believe’ that gender identity is separate from sex assigned at birth, then they do not ‘believe’ in transpeople. This is a form of existential denial. It is not, as Mr. Neufeld argues, akin to religious beliefs. A person does not need to believe in Christianity to accept that another person is Christian. However, to accept that a person is transgender, one must accept that their gender identity is different than their sex assigned at birth.”
This is genuinely extraordinary. Even if Neufeld were denying the existence of transgender-identified people as human beings, he should retain absolute freedom to express that view. If someone claims I don’t exist, they harm me in no way whatsoever. Such a claim could only harm someone so mentally unstable they might be persuaded of their own non-existence.
But Neufeld isn’t denying the existence of people who identify as transgender. He’s denying the validity of their claims about themselves. If you cannot question someone’s self-proclaimed identity, you possess zero rights at all.
The Canadian tribunal declares this conversation lacks “value.” Even if that were true — which it isn’t — only a communist dystopia maintains government tribunals that legally determine which conversations hold value.
The tribunal compares this to race, asserting it’s not “valuable” to debate whether racial groups differ in ways that might be positive or negative. They don’t believe discussing race serves any purpose beyond emboldening racists.
Yet these same people mandate anti-white racial discrimination and aggressive affirmative action, based on the theory that all racial disparities between whites and non-whites result from systemic discrimination and white supremacy. That theory completely collapses if alternative explanations for disparities exist. The tribunal doesn’t actually believe race debates lack value. They know that permitting such debate would undermine core leftist doctrine. The tribunal cannot allow that.
Similarly, they declare it’s not “valuable” to debate whether ten-year-old boys can instantly transform into girls. This transparently attempts to shut down a debate they’re losing badly.
This decision codifies transgender insanity into law, which will devastate thousands of Canadian children’s lives. It represents formal suspension of free speech in Canada — the death knell of the entire nation. The Canadian government’s position is clear: hold wrong opinions, forfeit your property and life savings.
This has been building for years. Canadian courts have informed homeowners that “Indigenous tribes” actually own their property. So even though Canadians purchased their homes, they don’t truly own them. We witnessed similar tyranny during the trucker convoy when the regime seized peaceful protesters’ bank accounts without due process.
Canada perfectly exemplifies the World Economic Forum’s stated goal: “You’ll own nothing and be happy.” Before this ideology metastasizes further, we must stop it.
The Government Murder Program
We haven’t even addressed the Canadian government’s deliberate, systematic murder of its own citizens. An official report from Ontario’s Medical Assistance in Dying Death Review Committee revealed that in 2023, 65 people in Ontario were executed by the state-sanctioned euthanasia program on the same day they requested it. Another 154 were killed the day after requesting it.
One case involved “Mrs. B,” a woman in her eighties who underwent heart surgery and experienced complications. She chose palliative care. When her spouse requested euthanasia assessment, Mrs. B withdrew the request “citing personal and religious values and beliefs,” preferring instead hospice care. But hospice was denied. Her spouse requested euthanasia assessment again. This time Mrs. B relented — despite one assessor expressing “concerns regarding the necessity for ‘urgency’ and the seemingly drastic change in perspective of end-of-life goals, and the possibility of coercion or undue influence (i.e. due to caregiver burnout).”
These stories proliferate across Canada. “Medical assistance in dying” now ranks as the fifth-leading cause of death in Canada. The MAID program alone — widespread systematic killing of the sick and vulnerable — easily provides valid moral justification for invasion and regime change. This is happening directly across our border, in our backyard.
Any regime engaging in open eugenics, executing people deemed undesirable, forfeits all moral legitimacy. Canada advertises “free healthcare” — but the healthcare is a lethal injection. We’ve documented cases like the 26-year-old man murdered because he had “seasonal depression” along with diabetes and blindness.
Canada has begun killing its own citizens because its healthcare system is overwhelmed with foreign nationals — and because they’re running out of transplant organs. They’re killing two birds with one stone: reducing population to ease healthcare burden while harvesting organs for the system to use.
And the victims aren’t the foreigners flooding into Canada. Approximately 95% of MAID recipients are white Canadians. The replacement is occurring from both directions: importing foreigners while systematically killing white people.
We could catalog countless additional human rights abuses: genital mutilation and chemical castration of children in the name of gender ideology, church burnings based on false narratives demonizing Christians, state-funded murder of children including partial-birth abortions. Canada maintains zero federal restrictions on abortion. That means executing a fully-developed infant during birth is completely legal. Partial-birth abortion is straightforward infanticide — killing an infant already being delivered. That’s legal in Canada.
This is precisely as evil as anything perpetrated by the North Korean or Iranian regimes. Period.
We’ve deposed governments for far less. And in this case, substantial numbers of Canadians want American intervention. Canadians who would oppose us have been systematically disarmed. They’re completely powerless.
The Trump administration understands this reality. The Treasury Secretary just suggested high-level talks with Alberta officials are currently underway, explicitly discussing Alberta’s potential separation from Canada and alignment with the United States.
If you live in Alberta — Canada’s economic engine, where most freedom-loving Canadians reside — this represents exceptional news. You have an off-ramp as Canada accelerates toward total collapse. Alberta has witnessed what happened to Toronto and Vancouver. Alberta understands how unrecognizable these cities have become. And Alberta’s tax dollars have been funding the destruction of these provinces.
That doesn’t need to continue. Within 48 hours, the U.S. military could end it permanently.
America may be on the verge of military commitment against Iran, thousands of miles away. But Canada is right here. It’s vastly easier to argue we have greater moral responsibility to respond to atrocities in Canada — because it’s on our continent, directly adjacent to us — and that Canada’s slide into communist dystopia overrun with third-world migrants presents clear and present danger to our country and wellbeing.
It’s not apparent how an evil regime in Iran threatens the United States. It’s extremely apparent how an evil regime seated sixty miles from our border does threaten us.
We just beat them in hockey. The remarkable truth is that liberating the entire country would actually be easier and less bloody than that hockey game.
Does that mean we should do it? I’ve just laid out a compelling, respectable argument. And today, as we celebrate our gold medal victory, it’s something worth serious consideration.
