Texas Democrat’s Sermon Reveals Left’s Dangerous Biblical Deception

A Texas Democratic Senate candidate just declared from a church pulpit that “our trans community needs abortion care, too.” Let that sink in.

State Representative James Talarico, now running for U.S. Senate, delivered this stunning pronouncement while preaching about the supposed intersection of transgenderism and abortion rights. He went further, claiming that “our neighbors with a uterus” have become “the property of the state” through laws that protect innocent unborn life.

This is the new face of Democratic Christianity—a Trojan horse designed to infiltrate and destroy biblical truth from within.

The Heresy Doesn’t Stop There

Talarico’s sermon included other theological abominations: “Being Christian and being pro-choice are absolutely consistent, because Christianity is a feminist religion,” and “Did they teach you in Sunday school that Jesus Christ Himself was a radical feminist?”

This isn’t Christianity. It’s progressive propaganda wrapped in religious packaging.

The candidate appears to be the product of Democratic consultants with zero understanding of authentic faith asking artificial intelligence to design their perfect Trojan horse. Clean-cut appearance? Check. Well-mannered delivery? Check. Sunday morning heresy tour? Absolutely.

A Leftist’s Fantasy Christian

Talarico represents exactly what secular progressives wish Christianity could be—a sanitized, politically correct social movement completely divorced from foundational Christian principles like sin, repentance, and salvation through Christ alone.

The notion that biological sex is changeable and that “trans men” deserve the right to abort their children is both theologically bankrupt and politically toxic—especially in Texas.

Yet we cannot dismiss the danger this false gospel poses to young Americans desperately searching for meaning and truth.

The Rogan Platform Amplifies the Lie

Talarico has found powerful allies in spreading his distorted message, including Joe Rogan, America’s most influential spiritual seeker and podcast host.

During a July 2024 appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Talarico claimed his abortion advocacy stems from the Virgin Mary’s choice to bear Jesus. According to Talarico, the angel Gabriel “asked” Mary “if this was something she wanted to do,” supposedly establishing divine precedent for abortion rights.

This is deliberate scriptural manipulation. The angel made no such inquiry. Gabriel announced God’s plan; Mary’s response was faithful submission, not consumer choice.

Talarico’s perverse attempt to transform Christ’s miraculous conception into a political argument for dismembering babies isn’t merely idiotic—it’s intentionally evil. The Incarnation was God’s rescue mission to save humanity from sin, not a convenient allegory about bodily autonomy.

The “Non-Binary God” Blasphemy

In 2021, responding to Texas legislation protecting children from gender experimentation, Talarico declared: “Texas Republicans have passed their anti-trans bill. Over and over Christians used scripture to justify bullying trans kids. I told them in my faith, God is non-binary.”

This represents complete theological illiteracy or calculated deception. Scripture repeatedly identifies God using masculine terms—King, Father, Lord. The Creator established humanity as male and female (Genesis 1:27), making gender fluidity both scientifically and biblically impossible.

Getting this wrong means fundamentally misunderstanding both human nature and God Himself. Talarico is intelligent enough to know he’s lying deliberately.

The Devastating Real-World Consequences

The political outcomes of these positions are catastrophic. Encouraging children and adults to mutilate their bodies and deny biological reality leads to lifelong sterility, severe mental health complications, and dramatically increased suicide rates.

The transgender movement has established itself as an enemy of free speech, parental rights, and child protection.

Abortion ends an innocent human life. No one—including women who identify as men—possesses the right to kill a baby.

A Voting Record of Extremism

In the Texas House, Talarico voted against every single measure protecting unborn children, gender-confused minors, and parental rights. He publicly supports abolishing prisons entirely. “It’s hard to imagine a world without prisons,” he admitted, “but just because it’s hard doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.”

This is radicalism without limits—an unrestrained prophet of falsehood twisting the language of faith to serve malevolent aims.

Progressive Christian Nationalism

The spiritual dimension of Talarico’s platform poses an even greater threat than his politics. He’s not simply defending extreme positions; he’s weaving them into Christian theology, creating a progressive form of Christian Nationalism where his fabricated biblical interpretations inform law and policy.

Democrats don’t oppose the Bible—they just want to rewrite and reinterpret it to support whatever positions they currently hold. That’s the danger of a candidate who knows just enough about Christianity to exploit it effectively.

The Screwtape Strategy

Talarico’s pleading pastoral tone will persuade many voters and spiritual seekers. He claims to follow Jesus’s words while rejecting everything that conflicts with progressive orthodoxy. In his framework, Jesus isn’t our Savior from sin and King of the universe—He’s reduced to a mascot for left-wing causes, a tool for manipulating people into supporting Democratic policies.

C.S. Lewis warned against precisely this distortion in “The Screwtape Letters.” The demon Screwtape encourages using Christianity as a means to any end—”preferably, of course, as a means to their own advancement, but, failing that, as a means to anything—even to social justice. For the Enemy [God] will not be used as a convenience.”

The Greater Battle

Talarico’s campaign must be defeated at the ballot box. But more importantly, his message must be opposed by pastors and faithful Christians everywhere.

His policies threaten our country. His theology threatens eternal souls.

Bible-believing Christians recognize Talarico’s teaching as incompatible with Scripture. But Americans less familiar with God’s Word risk falling for his deception completely. Democrats are counting on this—and the price for those who listen is their very souls.

For progressive operatives, that’s a small price to pay for turning Texas blue.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. This isn’t just another political race—it’s a battle for truth itself, waged in the arena where politics and theology collide. Texas voters must reject this false gospel before it metastasizes beyond the Lone Star State.

The choice is clear: authentic biblical Christianity or progressive heresy wrapped in religious language. There is no middle ground.
