Justin Guzman, the alleged shooter, surrendered to the Houston Police shortly after senselessly taking the life of Anthony Sanders. Sanders, who served our nation, confronted Guzman and his accomplice after they disrespected his fiancée in a mall elevator. In an unexpected twist of brutality, Guzman escalated the situation in a parking garage, ultimately shooting Sanders ten times while his family watched helplessly from their car.
During a recent court hearing, Sanders’ parents, both veterans themselves, laid bare the gravity of this tragedy. They presented evidence including a TikTok video of Guzman dancing in front of a news report about the shooting, an appalling display reflecting a complete lack of remorse or understanding of the consequences of his actions.
