President Donald Trump is igniting this year’s Fourth of July celebrations with a groundbreaking event in Iowa, heralding the countdown to America’s 250th anniversary in July 2026.

“I am ecstatic to announce that on Thursday, July 3rd, I will be traveling to beautiful Iowa—one of my favorite places on Earth—to launch our thrilling Celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary!” Trump proclaimed on Truth Social. He underscored the strong support from Iowa voters who have consistently backed him for his unwavering commitment to our farmers and small businesses, proclaiming their love for America.

“This event will honor our Great Country and the Brave Heroes who fought for our freedom,” he emphasized. Trump vowed to share the significant progress he has made on trade, particularly benefiting farmers.

“You will be pleased with what I have to say—expect a huge crowd!” he confidently asserted.

Ambassador Monica Crowley, the Principal Media Representative for America250, hailed the gathering as a “historic kick-off event,” reaffirming Trump’s unwavering commitment to organizing a celebration befitting America’s monumental milestone.

“This special occasion marks the magnificent beginning of a year-long celebration across our great nation, unveiling a vision for a renewed commitment to America’s future,” she added.

The festivities at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on July 3 kick off with pre-event activities at 5:00 p.m. CDT, with Trump taking the stage at approximately 7:30 p.m. CDT.

In this upcoming year, as we prepare to honor the 250th anniversary of our nation, Trump has pledged to deliver an extraordinary celebration. His presidential action, outlined on January 29, established the “White House Task Force on Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday,” known as Task Force 250. This initiative will collaborate with the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, and it emphasizes the creation of the National Garden of American Heroes, among other initiatives.
