During my time in New York City, I became accustomed to hard-hitting journalism. Local anchors reported facts without political bias. They laid bare the crimes and missteps of both conservative figures, like Rudy Giuliani, and their liberal peers, such as Bill de Blasio. Accountability was paramount.
Contrast that with what we see today in Portland, where news outlets have openly aligned themselves with leftist ideologies.
