A young woman’s naked body was shockingly discovered stuffed inside a duffel bag on the streets of Manhattan. This alarming incident highlights a troubling trend of violence and disregard for human life plaguing our cities.

MTA Police were summoned to East Harlem near 125th and Park Ave. after a concerned citizen made the grisly find around 7 p.m. on Monday. The scene was beneath the Metro-North railway, a location that should be safe, not a dumping ground for the unspeakable.

Authorities reported that the victim, a white female in her 20s, was found wrapped in a black garbage bag, placed inside a green duffel bag secured by a drawstring. This level of cruelty is unacceptable and underscores a critical need for swift justice.

While no visible trauma was apparent on the body and the cause of death remains undetermined, this case demands an immediate and thorough investigation. Our streets must be safe, and those responsible for this heinous act must be brought to justice.

As of now, the young woman has not been identified, with law enforcement awaiting the findings of a full medical examiner’s report. In a society that values life, we cannot sit idly by while such horrors occur. We must demand accountability and ensure our communities are free from the grip of violence.
